WARRANTY

SCUBAPRO warrants to the original consumer purchaser that, for the period of one year from date of purchase, each SCUBAPRO product component not otherwise warranted, and each SCUBAPRO replacement part, purchased from an authorized SCUBAPRO dealer will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and with reasonable maintenance. This warranty does not apply to any product or part used commercially.

SCUBAPRO will, at its option, repair or replace without charge any warranted component or replacement part that is defective in materials or workmanship. Repair or replacement is SCUBAPRO's only responsibility and your only remedy under this warranty.

To obtain warranty services, you must deliver the affected component or part, together with your Original Owner Identification Card (for a component) or other proof of purchase to any authorized SCUBAPRO dealer, to SCUBAPRO 1166-A Fesler Street, El Cajon, CA 92020 or to any other SCUBAPRO factory in the United States, Europe, or Asia. If you send the component or part to a SCUBAPRO factory, you must pay the shipping charges to the factory.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper usage, improper maintenance, neglect of care or maintenance or repair service performed by someone other than an authorized SCUBAPRO dealer.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

SCUBAPRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT COSTS, EXPENSES OR DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.

WARRANTY

BBP warranty period is one year from date of invoice.

Special order warranty: BBP extends to the customer any warranty granted by the manufacturer. Special orders not covered by the manufacturer are covered by BBP warranty.

BBP does not warrant that the product will be uninterrupted or error free.

BBP warranty covers replacement or repair, at our option, of any product under warranty that is found to be defective within the warranty period.

Replacement product may contain remanufactured parts or components but will have the functionality of equal to or greater than the original product.

Warranty exclusions:

Product that has been damaged by improper usage, application or installation, careless handling, or tampering; product with missing or altered serial numbers; consumable items such as batteries; products with defects resulting from improper maintenance or modification, software, media or parts not supported by the original product manufacturer; special order, custom configured, and as is product.

Customers are advised to properly package and insure products being returned under warranty as they are responsible for any damage or loss during shipping. Warranty returns that are shipped without proper packaging or insurance and that are damaged in transit may void the warranty.

BBP will test the returned product upon receipt. No credits will be issued until the return process has been completed and the product found to be defective.

WARRANTY

“Fantasea” warrants this Fantasea Line branded product against defects in materials and workmanship under reasonable use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR, (two years, where required by law as determined by the origin of the authorized dealer). This warranty is effective from the date of retail purchase from Fantasea or an authorized Fantasea dealer, by the original end‐user purchaser (“Warranty Period”).

This warranty does not cover any commercial use of the product. If a product defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Fantasea, or its authorized service facilities will either (1) repair the product defect at no charge, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.The warranty will not extend beyond the original warranty period.

Your Fantasea Product should be registered within 30 days of purchase. You must keep the proof of purchase which indicates the date on which the purchase was made; as you may be required to show proof of purchase if you need warranty service.


The following conditions apply:

1. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only. It is not assignable or transferable.

2. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents. Proper maintenance of the Product is the responsibility of the owner.

3. The warranty does not cover damage directly or indirectly resulting from the use of unauthorized replacement parts or service performed by unauthorized facilities.

4. This warranty does not cover any damage to any other product used in conjunction with the Fantasea product, including cameras and lenses, and resulting from any defect in the product materials or workmanship.

5. The cost of sending the product back to Fantasea or its authorized service facilities is the responsibility of the customer.

6. The warranty does not cover any incidental damages resulting from any defects in the product. This expressly includes any travel reimbursements or any other costs associated with the purchaser’s optional use of the product.

The conditions of this warranty are expressly in lieu of all other expressed warranties, including the payment of consequential or incidental damages for the breach of any warranty.

"Hollis for Life" Program
The Hollis for Life Program offers FREE annual maintenance parts for as long as you own your Hollis regulator and maintain the terms specified below. This program applies to all Hollis Regulators purchased and serviced through an Authorized Dealer. Register your product and you are automatically enrolled in the program. There is no additional charge for this program.

This program allows for parts to be provided at no charge for as long as the owner maintains the terms specified below. Individual dealer participation in this program is voluntary. A dealer is only obligated to honor service agreements that they have issued. Any Authorized Hollis Dealer may, at their option, honor a service agreement issued by another dealer.

All products must be inspected and/or serviced by an authorized Hollis Service Technician.
All labor fees incurred in overhaul service are the responsibility of the owner of the product serviced. This includes, but is not limited to inspection, overhaul or other services performed.

To maintain the program, you must show proof of authorized service within the specified warranty period (outlined below). This agreement is null and void if service is not performed within the specified warranty period.
This Hollis for Life program is non-transferable and valid for the life of the original owner.

This agreement, and Hollis' liability, is limited to the replacement parts. Hollis makes and customer receives no other warranties or conditions on parts provided by Hollis, express, implied, statutory, or in any communication with customer, and Hollis specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose, In no event will Hollis be liable for lost profits, punitive, exemplary, incidental, consequential or special damages. In any event, Hollis' liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the original equipment.
The Hollis for Life program does not apply to, and Hollis will have no obligation to replace, parts with defects or damage caused by misuse, accident, external causes, or installation error.

Warranty Details

*LIMITED LIFETIME REGULATOR WARRANTY

Hollis guarantees, to the original purchaser only, that the metal valve and metal components used in Hollis regulators are free of defects in material and/or workmanship under normal recreational scuba use for the lifetime of the regulator, provided proper care and maintenance have been performed as prescribed by the owner's guide or instruction card included with the equipment, and that the regulator is:
Purchased from an Authorized Hollis Dealer.
Inspected or serviced annually by an Authorized Hollis Dealer as outlined in the LIFETIME PARTS REPLACEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT. ONLY products purchased from Authorized Hollis Dealers are eligible for ANY warranty or service program coverage. Products not purchased from an authorized source MAY NOT be authentic, be complete, have all design and production updates, meet Oceanic' performance and quality standards, and may have been tampered with.
Hollis guarantees, to the original purchaser only, that the equipment purchased is free of defects in material and/or workmanship under normal recreational scuba use, provided proper care and maintenance have been performed as prescribed by the owner's guide or instruction card included with the equipment for the period outlined below. Should this product prove to be defective for any reason (other than those listed as limitations below) the product will be serviced or replaced at Hollis' sole discretion at no charge (excluding shipping and handling).
This warranty shall be void if the equipment has been tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorized by Hollis to perform service, or if the equipment is used for rental, military or commercial purposes.

Exclusions

Warranty does not extend to cover theft, loss, or damage due to accident, abuse, tampering, lack of maintenance, or exposure to excessive temperature, extended sunlight, or deteriorating chemicals. Service or modifications by any person or persons other than an Authorized Hollis Dealership voids the warranty. Hollis will not be responsible for recovery or replacement of the product in the event of loss or theft. Hollis, its Authorized International Distributors, and Authorized Dealers make no other warranties, either expressed or implied, orally, or in writing, with respect to any other warranty coverage except those expressly stated within the preceding paragraphs. Hollis will not be held responsible for any agreements orally or in writing with the exception of those expressly included in this warranty statement. This statement and the terms contained herein supersede all statements contained in any and all owner's guides, instruction cards, or other equipment literature or catalogs. In no event will Hollis, its Authorized International Distributors, and Authorized Dealers be held responsible or liable for any personal injuries resulting from the use of the covered equipment, or for any other damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential; even if Hollis has been advised of such damages.

WHAT TO SEND

The most important thing to include is a cover letter inside of the box. Include:

Your first and last name
Phone number

Shipping address
A description of the problem

Proof of purchase is nice but not necessary.

DO NOT include handles, arms, and other accessories which are not integral to the operation of the product.

DO include both front and back of the housing and the camera mount plate. A complete housing (including lens port) is especially important if water intrusion is a problem.

HOW LONG

Total turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks for warranty repairs and non-warranty repairs if the estimate is approved promptly. Closures due to US holidays and year-end inventory counting do affect our service times. Please allow extra time for repair service during the Christmas and New Years holiday season.

We do offer rush repair service (additional fees apply). It is mandatory that you notify us of your trip date and request rush service in your cover letter.

HOW MUCH

An estimate will be provided within approximately 7-10 days of receiving the item. Our estimates are sent via email. Please check your junk folder.

Pack your equipment carefully with your cover letter inside of the box. We recommend insuring the return shipment and using a trackable shipping method like UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

Our Warranty policy is designed to ensure you are completely satisfied with our products and support. Light & Motion products are covered against defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for 2 years from the date of purchase. Warranty is non-transferable and does not cover failures from misuse. We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any product that is found to be defective under our warranty policy. Proof of purchase required for warranty claims.

Warranty Limits & Exceptions

  • Batteries performance is warrantied for 90 days. This includes all battery integrated lights and external battery packs.
  • Cosmetic discoloration from wear and use is not covered.
  • Light & Motion is not liable for any loss, damages, or expenses including incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly arising from the sale or use of this product.
  • Rental programs carry a 90 day warranty (Stella products extended to 1 Year for rental programs).

Battery performance

All Light & Motion lights are tested and certified in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL-1 Standard. Batteries carry a 90 day warranty from date of purchase to perform within 10% of published specifications. Light & Motion is an industry leader with complete transparency of light specifications and test results confirming published data is hosted on wetestlights.comfor each light we sell. Please note battery performance can be affected by charging habits, temperature, and other external variables.

WHAT IS THE MARES LIMITED WARRANTY PROGRAM?

MARES guarantees, to the original purchase only, that a MARES Product purchased from any Authorized MARES Dealer worldwide will be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal recreational scuba use. All Authorized MARES dealers are listed on http://www.mares.com. The MARES Product warranty may differ for each piece of equipment and may differ by model year. Usually it is limited to a period of 2 years from the date of consumer’s purchase of the Product (“Warranty Period”) unless otherwise specified. This date must be verified by a valid sales document (tax receipt or sales receipt). For some categories and countries extended warranty policies not described herein may be applicable (e.g. for regulators, computers). Warranty claims are only accepted upon return of the defective complete Product with the warranty certificate completed in full and signed by the Authorized MARES dealer, and accompanied by a valid sales document (tax receipt or sales receipt) showing the date of purchase. MARES reserves the right to refuse free service if the required documentation cannot be provided or if information is incomplete, illegible, or incorrect.

HOW TO SUBMIT WARRANTY CLAIMS UNDER THE MARES WARRANTY PROGRAM?

Warranty claims have to be submitted to the Authorized MARES Dealer where the Product was purchased within two months from detection. The Dealer will deliver the product to Mares. If the Product had been purchased within the Warranty Period, as evidenced by the documentation requested above, and proves to be defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations) MARES will repair or replace the defect Product at its own discretion at no charge with the exception of shipping costs to Mares which is the sole responsibility of the consumer. MARES reserves the right to replace the claimed Product with a similar product of comparable value in case of unavailability of the defect Product. All parts of the product or the product that Mares has replaced shall become the property of MARES. Any repaired or replaced product (or part) does not extend the original warranty beyond the period of 2 years from original date of purchase. If the Product is found not to be covered by the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, MARES reserves the right to charge a handling fee. In case the MARES Product was purchased abroad the regional MARES distributor of your home country will render the respective warranty service (pls. refer to MARES distributors on http://www.mares.com). Please note that the regional MARES distributor is entitled to charge handling fees and all other freight and duty expenses related to a warranty claim for purchases made abroad. MARES will refuse warranty service if the Product was NOT purchased from an Authorized MARES dealer as listed on http://www.mares.com. In case the Product was purchased through an Online-store warranty service can only be provided through the Internet dealer the product was purchased from.

DEFECTS NOT COVERED BY THE MARES WARRANTY PROGRAM

Only defects or damages resulting from a failure in material or workmanship are covered by the MARES Warranty program. Other defects or damages, in particular those listed below, are not covered by our warranty:

  • Defects or damage caused by normal use and wear
  • Defects or damage caused by heavy, unusual, or incorrect use, or use under abnormal conditions (blows, jerks, falls, bumps, etc.)
  • Defects or damages caused by lack of or incorrect maintenance or through negligence
  • Defects or damages known or evident at the time of purchase of the Product
  • Clear defects or damage, tacitly accepted, that did not interfere with the product's operation
  • Scratches or damage to the plastic surfaces, glass, and all other external areas due to normal use of the product
  • Defects or damages caused by cleaning materials or other substances containing aggressive chemicals (solvents, surfactants, aggressive cleansers, etc.)
  • Defects or damages resulting from alterations and changes made to the Products without authorization
  • Defects or damages caused by improper assembly of the components
  • Defects or damages caused by failure to follow Product instructions in the User’s Manual
  • Defects or damages caused by prolonged use of the Product in chlorinated or polluted water
  • Defects or damages caused by exposing the Product to excessive temperatures, fire, or prolonged exposure to sunlight.All components subject to normal wear and tear (O-Rings, filters, diaphragms, light bulbs, batteries, rubber parts, silicone parts, latex, neoprene, zippers, etc.) are not covered by the warranty unless it can be shown that the problem is a manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover equipment used for rental, military or commercial purposes.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

MARES shall not be liable for any injury or damage that may, directly or indirectly, occur to persons, things, or animals resulting from the use of this product. MARES shall not be liable for damage resulting from the failure to observe the full content of the Instruction Manual especially instructions concerning the use and maintenance of the product.
MARES will not be held responsible for any agreements written or oral except of those that are a part of this warranty statement.
MARES entire liability shall be limited to repair or replacement of the product at Mares option.
MARES will not pay any compensation for any inconveniences which might be caused by the inability to use the Product or for any potential expenses incurred while the Product is being repaired or replaced.

Terms and conditions
The LifeLine comes with a limited warranty. This warranty only applies if the unit has been registered online. The LifeLine limited warranty covers the correction of manufacturing defects and resulting damage only and is valid for 1 year from the date you take sales of your unit. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, this warranty does not cover physical misuse or abuse of your unit, including tampering by unauthorized persons or repair facilities, flooding as a result of customer misuse/neglect or improper care and maintenance, damage or flooding if the unit is submerged without the lid being properly latched or if the o-ring is not clean and clear of contamination.

IMPORTANT: THIS WARRANTY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER ON UNITS BOUGHT FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AT MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICE (MAP).

This warranty does not apply to a unit that has been:
• Improperly used
• Used for a purpose other than that recommended in the product installation and operation instructions
• Damaged or has failed because of an accident or abnormal operation
• Repaired or modified by entities other than Nautilus LifeLine Please keep your original receipt as a proof of the purchase date. You must register your unit online within 30 days of purchase to qualify for the limited warranty.

 

How it works
The manufacturer will repair parts, replace parts or the replace the entirety of the unit as necessary under the manufacturers discretion. Prior authorization (RMA) to return your unit is required.

To return your unit for service, include the following in the package:
• Your name, RMA number, email address, telephone number, copy of dated sales slip and return shipping address.
• A brief description of the problem

IMPORTANT: For shipping and customs purposes, you must show a declared value of “0” noting that the unit is being returned for warranty repair. You will be responsible for any import duties or taxes incurred.

If you request emergency service, we will try to meet the date you specify. Include a note with this information in the package so we know that it is an emergency when we receive it. The the cost of rush emergency shipment is your responsibility. Please include your credit card information and authorization.

Oceanic guarantees, to the original purchaser only, that the metal valve and metal components used in Oceanic regulators purchased are free of defects in material and/or workmanship under normal recreational scuba use for the lifetime of the regulator, provided proper care and maintenance have been performed as prescribed by the owner’s guide or instruction card included with the equipment, and that the regulator is:

  1. Purchased from an Authorized Oceanic Dealer.
  2. Inspected or serviced annually by an Authorized Oceanic Dealer as outlined in the LIFETIME PARTS REPLACEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT. ONLY products purchased from Authorized Oceanic Dealers are eligible for ANY warranty or service program coverage. Products not purchased from an authorized source MAY NOT be authentic, be complete, have all design and production updates, meet Oceanic' performance and quality standards, and may have been tampered with.

Should this product prove to be defective for any reason (other than those listed as limitations below) the product will be serviced or replaced at Oceanic' sole discretion at no charge (excluding shipping and handling).

This warranty shall be void if the equipment has been tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorized by Oceanic to perform service, or if the equipment is used for rental, military or commercial purposes.

Exclusions

Warranty does not extend to cover theft, loss, or damage due to accident, abuse, tampering, lack of maintenance, or exposure to excessive temperature, extended sunlight, or deteriorating chemicals. Service or modifications by any person or persons other than an Authorized Oceanic Dealership voids the warranty. Oceanic will not be responsible for recovery or replacement of the product in the event of loss or theft. Oceanic, it’s Authorized International Distributors, and Authorized Dealers make no other warranties, either expressed or implied, orally, or in writing, with respect to any other warranty coverage except those expressly stated within the preceding paragraphs. Oceanic will not be held responsible for any agreements orally or in writing with the exception of those expressly included in this warranty statement. This statement and the terms contained herein supersede all statements contained in any and all owner's guides, instruction cards, or other equipment literature or catalogs. In no event will Oceanic, its Authorized International Distributors, and Authorized Dealers be held responsible or liable for any personal injuries resulting from the use of the covered equipment, or for any other damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential; even if Oceanic has been advised of such damages.

Manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser of new and unused product in its original packaging, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, that the product is free from defects in workmanship and materials. “Used” product is defined as any product used underwater or for any purpose other than in-store display. In the event the original purchaser believes there is a defect in a product, it is recommended that the purchaser contact SeaLife Customer Service or the importer in the country where the product was purchased for troubleshooting advice. The local authorized SeaLife Dealer can also assist with certain product servicing. If it is determined that the product requires servicing, a return authorization number will be issued. In the event of a product defect, Manufacturer will, in its sole discretion, repair or replace this product free of charge, provided the complete defective product is returned, at the sender’s risk, within one (1) year of its purchase date, to the applicable address, accompanied by: (a) a return authorization number, (b) a letter describing the defect, (c) the purchaser’s return address (no PO Boxes are permitted) and daytime telephone number, and (d) a copy of the original purchase receipt or proof of purchase with the purchase date of the product. Additionally, Manufacturer’s obligation to repair or replace a product hereunder is subject to the condition that Manufacturer is able to confirm the defect and replicate any alleged leaks. Excluded from this warranty are damages caused by abuse, misuse, wear, tear, cosmetic damages, water damage caused by damaged O-ring or O-ring contact surfaces or debris trapped between the product housing and the O-ring, repair or attempted repair by unauthorized persons, improper storage, non-performance of scheduled maintenance, battery leakage or software programs. Possible compulsory legal warranty rights of purchaser towards distributor under national law are not affected by this warranty statement.

THE FOREGOING IS PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY TOWARDS MANUFACTURER, AND MANUFACTURER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION, WITH RESPECT TO A CLAIM THAT A PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL MANUFACTURER BE LIABLE TO PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY

FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, OR DAMAGES FOR WHICH PURCHASER MAY BE LIABLE TO OTHER PERSONS OR ENTITIES, EVEN IF MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND WHETHER THE CLAIM IS FOR BREACH OR REPUDIATION OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. IN NO EVENT SHALL MANUFACTURER’S MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SALE OF THE PRODUCT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID TO MANUFACTURER FOR THE PRODUCT. ANY OF THE FOREGOING NOTWITHSTANDING, ACCORDING TO COMPULSORY LAW (ESPECIALLY REGARDING PRODUCT LIABILITY), SOME STATES, COUNTRIES AND TERRITORIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, IN WHICH CASE THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY.
