Faulty SCUBA diving gears pose safety hazards which may lead to bodily injury or even death. For this reason, DiveCatalog enforces a strict return policy to ensure products' quality and performance.
RMA approval is required prior to returning a product. RMA is valid for 7 calendar days for refund, exchange, or warranty claim. All unauthorized or expired RMA returns will be rejected.
Return policy here within applies to DiveCatalog website purchase only (Amazon and eBay have different return policies).
Any package “damaged” or “not received” claim must be file within 2 calendar days from “delivered on” date.
DiveCatalog takes fraudulent claims & scams seriously. We reserve the right to confiscate questionable products (ie. mismatch serial number) as evidence for legal actions.
Returns: What's the refund policy and restocking fees?
Full refund – New item return within 30 days from the purchase date.
20% restocking fee – Unuse open box item return within 30 days from the purchase date.
50% restocking fee – Used item returned within 30 days from the purchase date.
No refund – Item past 30 days from the purchase date.
Upon receiving the return item, it may take up to 7 working days to complete the refund process to reflect the refund amount on original payment method.
Exchange: What's the exchange condition and time frame?
New item is eligible for an exchange within 30 days from the purchase date.
Used item is NOT eligible for an exchange.
Warranty: What's covered and what's not?
All new products sold by DiveCatalog come with full manufacturer warranty. Contact DiveCatalog or check brand’s official website for warranty details (warranty rules and period varies).
Warranty does not cover products from misuse, physical damage, normal wear and tear, or alternation made by owner.
No Returns or Exchange: Out of policy
Item past 30 days from the purchase date.
Used, submerged gear.
Final Sales products.
Special order or customize products.
Returns without RMA approval.
Packaging: How to package returns properly?
The Customer is responsible for the product until we receive the product. To package a return properly:
1. Select a proper box size
2. Protect the item with packing material
3. Include the RMA & Order Numbers printout inside the package
4. Write RMA# on the outside of the package (valid for seven (7) calendar days)
5. Seal the package
6. Put on return label
Shipping: Who pays for shipping?
The customer is responsible for return label/fees for returns, exchange, and warranty claim.
We recommend our customers insure and include tracking with delivery confirmation (ie. UPS, FedEx or US Priority Mail) on return packages. DiveCatalog is not responsible for damaged or lost packages.
DiveCatalog takes responsibility for all packages that are signed and received. Upon on receive the package, a DiveCatalog technician will inspect the product and contact you to complete the process.
